Generationally challenged, looking to program

but to be productive takes about a month or 2. you'll still suck relative to the 10yr guy but you'll be able to do stuff and automate many tedious tasks.

keep in mind almost everyone gives up right away.
 
Ok guys thanks for the input; I am abroad for a while and stepping up my Excel and VBA makes more sense than buying Tradestation. But I'll give the latter some thought when I return to the States. Any links to tutorials, books, online classes for Excel/VBA wold be appreciated.
