i didn't said that. and even provided my example above that worked for me.
that brings us to the point,where those idiots from DC should really start-TRANSPARENCY in healthcare costs. all costs should be free and clear,avaliable for everyone just like in..i don't know...car business. so anyone can choose,compare before they buy it. allow hospitals, insurance companies to TRULY compete, allow customers to buy insurance out of state and so on. those are easy steps and there is a plenty of room for small pilot programs. instead-they just dump on us 11000 pages of this obamacare nonsense and claimed as the greatest achievement
 
I just went to the insurance website that I bought mine from. I got a quote of 132 euros a month, that 0 Excess that you see listed there means no deductable.

There are some limits in this plan. but they are pretty meaningless. All of the major stuff is covered...even airlifts you back to france I was told...never really confirmed that.

you also see that there is no coverage here in the US...I wonder why?? lol

I paid in full at a insurance office and got a discount, it was 1200 euros total about 5 years ago. seems to have gone up by 10-15% since then.

So lost in this whole conversation is "Where the Hell are the Parents"? It is the job of the parent to prepare their young to set out into the world... It has always been expensive to raise a child. In the 1960's there was no EITC, Child Tax Credit, Education Credits...etc that gave any break to people with children. Kids were EXPECTED to either figure out a way to go to college or get a job. f your parents were rich then you got a free ride...if not you got a scholership, some kind of aid or you worked your way thru college.

We have raised a group of "entitled" kids who want to hang around the house because they don't want to sacrifice their goodies to pay for their own necessities. gee....whose fault is THAT!!!

Yeah, I agree. My kids are over-indulged. One of them wants us to hand-feed him while he's on the PS4 and XBOX. I would've been slapped for that.

I don't think it's necessarily wise to be stressed with a job during undergrad as their grades often suffer.

your kids (as were mine) are very fortunate to get the full ride via pops and hopefully it won't affect their attitude or work ethic. It is a wonderful gift and I hope they do appreciate it.

Hehe plenty if people play sports in school and find enough time for schoolwork and 4+ hours a day practices plus missing class for road trips. I personally trade the market from 630 am to 2pm central time, and then I have 2 classes each afternoon plus 1 online class, for a total of 5 classes (15 hiurs credits) And I still manage to keep my 3.5gpa pretty easily.
