A voltage device making you run faster ? Nah, it may merely keep a horse's mind on the job and thus get a better run out of him.
Anyway what I would be trying would be to see whether we could be successful in cloning him.
Then again that probably would soon be outlawed by the racing fraternity. once it becomes possible to do so. The only one supporting cloning would be the people who happened to own a good horse.

Why clone him specifically? Its not like he won cause he was the best horse. Yeah i agree lets clone the best thats out there.. which is certainly not this horse. Really hope the Derby has some guts and gives the roses a true winner. Without this illegal device, this horse would have been shit.
I'm more than familiar with the racing game, and while I think Santos was his own worst enemy , and made some ridiculous remarks about voodoo wrist bracelets, my study of the pictures indicates NO WRONG DOING.

"Whacko?" "idiot remarks?" Plain and simple, the only reason why he won is because the jockey cheated, whether you want to believe it or not. No one is saying it was a Voltage gun. More likely the object was more to distract/disorient the horses around it. Only an idiot believes someone is a fair winner when the jockey cheated. Maybe he was the best horse. But he was a longshot to begin with, and he will continue to be a longshot when it comes to the belmont. That is unless he cheats again. The rules specifically state you can not carry a foreign object. Thats a fact. Maybe he can still prove himself in another race. But to celebrate a cheater is moronic.
MSNBC and AP have already published photos shot from slightly different angles showing an empty hand (except for the whip). Photo was taken at nearly the same time as the photo trying to show 'something' in the hand.

Actually, the rules state you cannot carry a BANNED object. You can carry anything you'd like, as long as it's not banned.
Sorry, I live elsewhere so I have no idea of the form of this or any other horse racing in the USA. Nor do I have any idea whether a battery was used or not.
What I do know is that if there is such suspicion then the jockey would have been caught either because he would be found with the device on him or it would have been found after the jockey
threw it onto the track.
So how can someone be condemned without the evidence ?
Unless there is evidence such talk amounts to something pretty vile i.e. character assassination.
