Geithner vows U.S. will not devalue dollar, does anyone actually believe this!!!

Its amazing. The US has been driven to believe in optimism which has no basis in reality. We will be destroyed at some point if we dont look in the mirror.

How about Bernanke? He thought the worst was over when things were just hitting the fan in the summer of 2007.

Maybe they read a Krugman book and didn't realize that it belonged in the fiction section.

I remember when the Economic Collapse first started. They showed Greenspan on 60 minutes signing autographs while watching at ball game at Fenway. I thought to myself I would like to punch the guy in the face not idolize him ! Notwithstanding the fact he is an old man.
