I think we'd all be better off if he ( and his kind ) would simply admit that they are racists and move on . . . At the very least, it would allow for their arguments to make sense, rather than the twisted "logic" that they always fall back on.
Unfortunately, the twisted "logic" is an essential component of their plausible deniability campaign in the event that allegations of racism are raised. And so, they must dance around that little nugget with just the right amount of subterfuge. It's a laughably thin veneer, but it lets them feel modern and clever. And so it goes.
