GBP/USD trading

morning everybody. i am just getting signed up here to meet everybody. my nephew showed me this. I had no idea all the money traders that there was out there. anyway, i got a pound trade working too. I think she is going to shoot way up on us. I been buying her right good lately. I know everybody thinks she is going to fall down, but i think she is going to shoot up more. Thats what makes this a good money trade in my mind. I think she is going up to 2.3000 over the next year and half or so and i am workin my buying in now.

Is there a reason why you would not want to keep it simple and trade the EUR/GBP?

Yeah I thought about that but im using a EUR position back from 1.45 to hedge a large cash position stuck in a CD that I have to convert to EUR in a few months so the GBP short is more of a hedge against a hedge, Ive noticed that in the last few weeks when USD is strong the GBP falls more than EUR so I think that this spread will give me some flexibility and I wont have to deal with having to switch profits back into USD cause ive had nothing but problems with IB doing that, ive got random JPY AUD CAD and GBP in there already that I havent been able to convert back.

sorry i am a little bit late, but

I am still holding short position on cable with lonterm target... you were right with entry point - it was 2.0585....targettin 2.0285...
