GBA's "2021 Stock Phantasma"

To Vape Or Not To Vape--

I tried & failed. I bought a great Vape machine it's huge and has a popcorn bag that you huff on it's called The Volcano... But the taste is just a bit different for an old school burner like myself. And carrying those bags on public transportation gets you a lot of crooked looks..

Those that Vape look addicted. And puff out too much smoke or vape and just continue to do it.. Marketed as a way to stop smoking.. that always had it's limits. Can't deny though that a lot of folks do it.. The FDA recently punted on the topic of Vapes -- we should dig up how long that punt is whether the idea of banning Vapes has been put off for a while or for good.

Greenlane Holdings may respond...

Greenlane Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: GNLN) Director Jeffrey J Uttz acquired a total of 36000 shares at an average price of $2.81. To acquire these shares, it cost $101,160.00.

Alliance Global Partners recently initiated coverage on Greenlane with a Buy rating and announced a price target of $6.

Greenlane Holdings is a distributor of vaporization products and consumption accessories in the United States.
Stoney...
Talk about spooky.
Now I have never looked at a vaporizer once in my life other than the little pens everyone uses for e-cigs...

Yesterday on my watch-list I noticed CGC had some news. I looked and it was about this company Storz and Bickel, which apparently they own. So I looked up this company to see what it was.

Lol!!!! They make The Volcanoes!

When I saw them I thought I should post the link here for you as a joke.

We must have some kind of harmonic resonance.

How much did they pay for STORZ & BICKEL? That's a great pick up. German guys really precise & well made products... if you don't mind the high stepping.
Hey.
Since we're on the cusp of a new thread, can I submit some ideas?

First of all is definitiveness. Now I am in no way tooting my own horn here, but this did come up in another thread....

https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...-dividends-that-might-be-worth-a-look.341798/

Ignore that, albeit that is a defining post.... but whatever.

Here's the deal Stoney.... as our new thread starts out, I really feel compelled to voice this... there is one word... one adjective... and it defines a definitive trade.

You can't sit here and write you have given out 300 winners bro....

https://www.elitetrader.com/et/threads/gbas-2021-stock-phantasma.354298/page-892#post-5454701

without posting all the losers. Of which there are TONS!!!!

Finding 5 stocks/day that you find interesting via various stock oriented websites, posting them here, and then crowing when one of them hits pay dirt..... uh uh... that don't cut it Stoney. At least in the bragging rights department.

Do a quick search for the word "phantasma".
As in "Added to the..."
The stocks you "added".... are down huge.

I only point this out, because we have a following.
I feel a responsibility here.

This wizard of oz bs where you post 10 stocks/day.... and then come back with.... blah blah blah is "up 30%".... is bs. Dude, anyone can do that posting 1000 "ideas".

"The people", as you wrote when presenting the lead-in to our new thread.... they deserve definitiveness.

So... may I humbly suggest as a founding partner of GBA and starting with our new thread.... before you take credit for the rooster crowing at dawn like some kind of huckster.... you exercise a little bit more definitiveness.

Ideas are ideas.
Watching is watching....
But.. for our next thread, it's time to get a little more binary.
At least if you want to strut around like the cock of the walk.

You can have all the ideas and watch lists you want... but there is no more bragging on spurious posts that hit pay-dirt just because you posted the stock in our thread.
GBA is better than that. You can post 10 per day... 30 per day... but when you brag on a winner.... and I don't think its necessary that you actually own it because i call out stuff all the time.... but when you brag on a winner, I think it should be pretty clear you called it out early by saying this is a definitive pick. Not an idea, and not a "watch".
Then feel free to brag all you want.
-that's all
:D

Edit... I can't help it... savant this post Stoney....

Snap initiated with a Buy at Goldman Sachs 04:58 SNAP Goldman Sachs analyst Eric Sheridan initiated coverage of Snap with a Buy rating and $90 price target. The analyst initiated coverage of the U.S. internet sector with a "selectively positive view." The industry still has "ample opportunities" for secular revenue growth and increased operating efficiencies on the back of building scale in the coming years, Sheridan tells investors in a research note. The analyst sees Snap as one of the fastest growing companies in his coverage universe. The company will capitalize on past investments and a "forward mindset" on platform/product innovation to capture a mixture of user growth and monetization, says Sheridan. Show Related Items >>

ok here is my hot tip for the new thread. it's not going to make much sense unless you trade these things already, but on the chance anyone else here likes to trade custodials (bankrupt shells that are being cleaned up and merged into) on the OTC:

all major us brokers have stopped letting people buy no-info OTC stocks ahead of the September 28 deadline. It's part of a major SEC clean up of the OTC. however, if you have an international brokerage (like interactive brokers), you can still buy them. so for like a two-week window, it's you and the market makers who can pretty much buy as these stocks go on discount sales. after sept 28, the no info stocks are going to the grays, or the expert market, or whatever weird space they are going to send them. of course most of this stuff is junk, but a few of the custodial stocks are worthwhile purchases--people are rushing the paperwork to try to get them current for the deadline. i have an IBKR acct and so i've bought some, but don't have the time right now or the cash (or the risk appetite) to go crazy with it, but there is money to be made in this mess and someone is probably going to make a lot of it.

these SEC changes are bringing about the twilight of a good trade. custodials, when played right (and i was still learning), were good money.
Not my cup of tea, but that is one well informed post.
Another VZ savant-ism.....
But women make better traders than men.
I swear. I 1000% believe that.
Zero doubt.
Its gotta be the right person though.
Like anything else.
