  • Shake Shack(NYSE:SHAK)reports same-shack Sales were up 52.7% inQ2against the pandemic comparable from a year ago. That mark missed the consensus estimate for a 54.7% jump. While suburban Shacks are performing closer to pre-pandemic levels than urban locations, the company says it saw encouraging momentum across urban Shacks throughout the second quarter.
  • Average weekly sales were $72K in Q2 to mark the highest level since the pandemic started. Operating income was $3.3M vs. a loss of $24.1M a year ago. Shack-level operating margin was at 19.2% of sales.
  • Looking ahead, Shake Shack expects revenue of $194M to $200M vs $198M consensus. Margins are forecast to moderate in the coming quarters as the chain makes significant investments in its team.
  • Shares of Shake Shack areup 1.38%AH in AH trading. For the week, Shake Shack is down more than 9% on concerns over the impact of tighter COVID-19 restrictions in some larger cities.
Van this may be your chance to get in. I don't think Covid hurts Shack as much as other places... you eat under a tarp big deal. Or do take out.

"Unusually high" lol.... well, that happens the day before earnings.

Now... compare the IV to that of say.... SNAP the day before it's earnings... or Roblox....
when I wrote that the straddle was at 5%... that's low for a stock that I assume is... like you said, a future meme stock.

I don't know where they closed, I didn't look, but as I recall, last Q those options were priced at a 14% move. On the straddle.

So.... ya gotta learn to discern facts for yourself Stoney...you should not even have to ask me about this.... ESPECIALLY if you bought the stock for pete sakes.
