What has 5G done for you today? I took an informal poll around town folks with fancy I phones... Nobody seems to know one thing that 5G has made different than 4G. I thinks we have been sold a bill of goods....

Fluidigm gains on report that it's exploring a sale

I owned this stock in the very beginning did well... There was a write up tha had a very high PT that this stock never hit or attained. In the long run it became a laggard in the testing space but that's ok I got two more of those!

I've been wanting to get back into HOLX but waiting for earnings report which is soon....

  • Fluidigm Corp.(NASDAQ:FLDM) rose 5.5% in premarket trading on a report that the Covid-19 test maker is considering a sale.
  • The medical technology firm is working with an adviser to see interest from possible buyers, according to a Bloomberg report. The company may garner interest from other health-care providers and private equity firms.
  • Reuters reported in May that activist investor Caligan Partners had accumulated an 11% stake in and may ask the company to consider the sale of one of its businesses.
  • Caligan argued, according to the report, that the the company is materially undervalued and that while its mass cytometry segment is growing, its microfluidics business is weakenin. The mass cytometry unit helps identify biomarkers to predict diseases.

SPAC Queen's Gambit gains on report of talks to take ride-sharing startup Swvl public-- Wait!

Weren't these gals going to do only a female SPAC based on female issues and or entirely female led????? Appreciate the photo of the one lady driver but this is Saudi Arabia we are talking about!! WTF. Women were allowed to drive cars about two years ago!!!!!!!!

  • SPAC Queen's Gambit(NASDAQ:GMBT)rose 3.2% in after hours trading on a report that the entirely female-led SPAC is in talks to take Middle East-based ride-sharing firm Swvl public.
  • The transaction will value Swvl at about $1.5B, according to aWSJ report.The deal will include a $100M PIPE with investors including Agility, Luxor Capital Group and Zain Group.
  • In Augugst 2019, Swvl announced it has raised $42M in a fund raising round (Series B-2),valuing the company at the time at $157M,according to MENAbytes.
 
It's almost as if we have to separate the stock performance from the idea. The market is so sucky everything looks like crap but Grow Generation just keeps buying people!! I mean they are taking the age old amalgamator method to building something huge.. It works..

What is that Basil. Common!
  • GrowGeneration(NASDAQ:GRWG) to acquire HGS Hydro, the nation's third-largest chain of hydroponic garden centers. The financial terms were not disclosed.<-- must of been alot!
  • HGS Hydro is the largest chain of hydroponic garden centers in Michigan and generated ~$50 million in revenue in 2020.
  • The transaction will bring the total number of GrowGen hydroponic garden centers in Michigan to 14 and the total number of stores to 65.
Pretty sure when GBA first found this stk they had 11 stores....

  • BLUE shares up 2% premarket at $26.44.
  • As part of the agreement, Resilience will acquire bluebird’s Research Triangle (bRT) manufacturing facility located in North Carolina and retain all of the more than 100 highly skilled technical staff and administrators currently employed at the site.
  • In consideration, bluebird will receive $110M from Resilience.
