An LAPD report dated April 28, 2021 (“Report”), linked to today’s Special Meeting agenda, recommended that the Commission review and approve a one-year extension of the BolaWrap Pilot Program. The Commission voted to approve the one-year pilot extension of the BolaWrap Pilot Program in two Los Angeles divisions.
 
Look at it this way Van. You have to keep up with the times. Any new spending at a Police force anywheer in America except maybe the deep south is going to include the Bola because A) It works and B) the Cops want an alternative and C) Tazers are out of fashion now. We no longer want to see these people electrified and thrashing about; a neat little wrap up... This is the NEW WAY.
