Happy Saturday.
Got railed into a stupid birthday party today. Whatever on that....
...but hey check this out Stoney...
this is our f'ing new "normal".
They had the big ass TV on in the main room and a bunch of kids were watching the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon, or one of those type channels. I'm walking by to hit the fridge to grab a seltzer and the TV caught my ear...
"Come join us for 'Paw Patrol Live'."
Its a full blown production Stoney. Real people on stage. Costumes, orchestra, ... the works. Good stuff right?
I thought to myself.... this is good, we are getting back to normal. Friggin Broadway shows are opening up and selling tickets.
And then I heard the rest....
"Log on to blah blah blah to buy your tickets and join this virtual event."
WTF!!!!??
Can anyone besides me not see how stupid this is?

Yeah the marketing on these things are ridiculous. I used to attend about a dozen concerts a year so now I get excited when I get emails from Live Nation or Songkick notifying me about upcoming shows, but they're all virtual. Live Nation should start a subsidiary named Virtual Nation and at least record it with proper equipment so you can attend with a VR headset.
Oh god.... now we're gonna hear Stoney touting Vuzix all next week.

VaN I have a couple ideas for you. Was that a kid's party> ? If so I have a neat little trick I do , i have a scary clown suit and makeup paCK and I just put on a Kiss like scary face with stars around my eyes and John Wayne Gasy-like lips and the big shoes that pop and everything and there's not a kid's party I haven't been asked to leave...
If it's an adult party let me know I have other ideas...
