Movie theaters in L.A. could reopen as early as Saturday,:thumbsup: CNBC reports 17:46 MCS, IMAX, AMC, CNK, NCMI, CNNWF California Governor Gavin Newsom said that if enough people in the state are vaccinated, Los Angeles movie theaters could be approved for reopening at a restricted capacity as soon as this Saturday, CNBC's Sarah Whitten reports. In order to reopen, counties in the state must have fewer than 10 new COVID-19 cases a day per 100,000 people and the state as a whole must distribute 2M vaccine doses to underserved populations, Whitten notes. Publicly traded companies in the space include AMC Entertainment (AMC), Cinemark (CNK), Cineworld Group (CNNWF), Imax (IMAX), Marcus (MCS) and National CineMedia (NCMI).

Is Liberty is Washington? We are struggling to get a list together. I think Washington DC would be a good city to go to school in. My kid does not want severely cold winters, he's had enough of those-- but Washington is along the lines of NYC- Not that bad.

ok, stoney here's some unsolicited advice on colleges. And I'm not even sure this is what i would do for my kiddo because right now i'm killing myself trying to get him into a good kindergarten. but, I work part time in higher ed, and my advice would be that--unless your kid really knows what he wants--to really consider the price of the college when you make your choice. sometimes i think about how smart it would be if, say, a kid had a certain amount of money for college, and if, instead of spending it all on a college, that he picked a cheaper college and then the parents helped him use the saved money to set up an investment to help him with his life, a down payment on a starter house or something. this is just speaking generally and clearly not about your situation, but i see a lot of that money getting spent on kids that don't seem quite ready.

I hear you on the $'s and totally agree. Some of these Cali schools in Santa Barbara cost a ridiculous amount. My old school Boston U has gone up a serious amount as well. Certainly no half way learning or hybrid learning-- that's not worth the money.

Mr Chewy is going to the Vet today Van! He regressed... he was getting better and now he's liquid again.. not as bad as before but it's got me thinking or over thinking-- could this be a sudden allergy or reaction to his Blue Buffalo Dog food? Have they changed their recipe or has my guy developed a grain allergy?

Just a thought but he seemed to get bad when I stopped the chicken and sweet potato diet I was making...

palantir is up again. i have a tiny amount. back before ARK got involved and made this thing spike, I used to trade it for small amounts, buying at around 25 and selling around 27. i have no guess on if it will keep rising or if it settles into a pattern.
