i rebought snap yesterday at the low, and bought a small amount of palantir this morning once the market looked ok. that said--and i know you guys think this isn't quite the right way to look at it--but i still thing tech's decent morning is brought to us by the dropping 10-year treasury note (it has dropped overnight). if the note starts rising again, i'm going to sell those for the time being.

  • BofA clients bought equities at an aggressive pace last week, mostly in tech, where dip-buyers took advantage of a third-straightdown week for the Nasdaq(COMP)(NASDAQ:QQQ).
  • The Nasdaq is surging back nearly 4% today as Treasury yields back down. It's a modest move in the 10-year, off 4 basis points to 1.55%, but enough to spur a lot ofbuying in the beaten-down momentum and Big Tech names.
  • Retail, hedge funds, institutions and corporates (in the form of buybacks) all bought Info Tech(NYSEARCA:XLK)last week. Hedge funds and retail purchases were close to record levels.
  • There was a near-record weekly inflow into XLK at $2.6B, the highest in more than seven years, and four-week average tech flows hit a record, strategists led by Jill Carey Hall wrote in a note.
