GBA's "2021 Stock Phantasma"

Where I am currently employed, which used to have a sponsorship on side of an indycar as recent of this year, exclusively uses IAA. I don't see IAA company going anywhere anytime soon. They have a decent user system, plenty of exclusive contracts with insurance companies/tow yards and prime land. I don't know which is larger but Copart is heavily used by the large insurance companies like State Farm and Allstate. I don't think you can go wrong with either one if that's the sector you're looking at.

.

VTech....

I don't know if you caught this post of mine from a week or so back, but IAA is on the radar.
Maybe Copart is buying them out. (?)

So yesterday there's this stock, IAA.

Someone went in and bought 15,000 of the Nov $55 calls for like $3 plus.

So I look at this stock.
They do exactly what my CPRT does... they're just way smaller.

Now I told you guys, when CPRT reports in early September, they are gonna blow it out of the water.

I have to wonder if CPRT is working on a deal to buy this company IAA

Look at the open interest on the calls for October and November.
Something is up for sure.

EDIT:
Now if there was a deal in the works, again just pure speculation really, but if there was... inevitably, 9 times out of 10, the acquirers stock price goes down on the announcement. For whatever that's worth.

My Lord that is ugly... That's No Slinger Bag that's for sure.

I think gift of the year is either Slinger Bag or one of these new Grills.

To support my premise that such opportunistic acquisitions can well serve our shareholders and now bondholders, you will hear about Seequent from both a financial standpoint from David Hollister and as to its strategic synergies. And to introduce Seequent, a Bentley business, may I now introduce Bentley Systems’ Chief Product Officer, Nicholas Cumins, to whom the Seequent organization report.

Nicholas Cumins

Thank you, Greg. The world above ground is largely known and well described. The world below ground is uncertain because it is designed by nature and we cannot see it. Here, you need specialist expertise to understand nature's curves, grade, shade, anomalies, and exceptions. According to report by the Institution of Civil Engineers, the largest element of technical and financial risk lies in the ground. Studies have shown that unexpected problems related to ground conditions account for more than a third of product overrides.

But imagine if you can see what lies beneath, you can derisk product delivery, you can greatly increase the resilience, the sustainability of the infrastructure. Seequent is a unique and truly innovative company in the subsurface. Seequent translated algorithm that originated in medical sciences into geology to create a paradigm shift in how the subsurface is interpreted. This capability, hone in the minerals industry where Seequent is very strong today has gone on to evolve into multiple industry verticals. This deep competence is well aligned with Bentley.

The Numbers- Slinger Bag
For the 9 months ended January 31, 2021, the company did $7.3 million in sales, produced $1.5 million in gross profit, and had an operating loss of $2.66 million. The company's net loss was around $5.2 million.

Growth was certainly impressive in the last quarter with revenue jumping to $4.12 million from $2.62 million the quarter before.

This puts the company at a revenue run-rate of $16.48 million annually, but I find it likely the company could do well over $20 million in revenue over the next 12 months as they should see sales continue to increase quarter over quarter due to rapidly increasing product awareness and execution of existing (and potentially new) distribution deals. Furthermore, this seems likely to be a business that has its strongest quarters in the northern hemisphere summer, so they could see a seasonal boost over the next couple of quarters.

Takeaways
Slinger Bag is a fascinating company with an interesting product in a large market, but it's still very early for the company. The stock is trading for a market cap of around $90 million. That's a little over five times run rate sales of $16.5 million. While that's not all that expensive for a business growing 57% quarter over quarter, there remains a tremendous amount of uncertainty with the business going forward. It seems too early still to say whether this product can reach mass adoption in the tennis world.

Slinger Bag Inc with just $330,000 in cash on the balance sheet will have to raise more cash soon to invest in working capital and fund continued losses, likely through an equity raise rather than debt.

Rumor Monday FED ok on Pfizer.... Not Moderna's yet... or is there a problem?Don't tell me please.

I don’t know about problems. It is a bit of an intuitive call, but I see some signs where I think a good trend up for PFE comes into play. I mean a longer bullmove like 1-2 years. Reasons:

  • Could get ‘monopolized’ profits in vaccins, or at least a very dominant player.
  • Q2 results where very good. What are they gonna do with all this money?
  • PFE has not moved up a lot like MNRA or BNTX. Off course there are reasons for that, but why shouldn’t there flow some money from BNTX to PFE (they share profits).
  • MNRA/BNTX have moved up already quite a bit. If a period of money flow out of growth and into more ‘safe assets’ materializes PFE is a candidate for that ( this flow @vanzandt described)
  • I see a lot of calls in the option chain. Could be speculation for a move up.
  • Last, PFE is not a popular name on trading sites ( high popularity is a bad thing in my opinion)

I’am not really a fan from TA but looking at a really long-term chart (1985-now) the level of 1999 is about the be broken/is broken:

But please take what I say with a grain of salt, I certainly have not studied balance sheets and specific company information.

Thinking about to really build a position for this (already started last week). What do you guys think?

I am mad at these guys. And Moderna

But there is no doubt the money is there.

Our shots should of been spread out months (Countries that did that are not needing boosters)
Why did these drug co's make that 2 week recommendation. - Now we need Boosters.

I think you will do well in health related names and Pfizer.
