Anyway, they did $320M in sales last year. Say they make, at a max, 20% commission, that's $64M.
400 employees in NYC, and you know at least 20 of them are making north of $750K/year. Easy.
No telling how much they spend on SG&A & tech.

It's not like last was their first year either. And I've gotta think, especially looking at other stocks that cater to the high end buyers... RH, RL, etc, that's a banner year.

The numbers don't add up Stoney.
At a market cap approaching $1B and 38M shares.... ?
When will they turn a profit?
I don't see it happening.

Think someone read my post Stoney?

I mean I know lots of stocks dipped today, but this thing went from $20 to $15. On big volume for it.

It bounced, $16 on the close.... but for Mrs Stoney to get back to where she said get in at $27.... you do realize that's a 70% pop from here.

I hate to say I told you so... but I did... at $27, $23, $22, and then I bit my tongue... until yesterday... at $19.... at which point I wrote the above post.

A business is a business is a business.

Just because some sharp player's with lots of experience and a pack of drooling lawyers can bring something to a NASDAQ IPO... does not mean it's worth a friggin penny. It happens all the time. Perfectly legal. Hey, the buyers are out there.

I just hope no one listened to you about this at $27.
GBA has a reputation to keep.
Fundamentals matter.
Especially on new IPO's

Ms stoney bought DIBS as I remember $22.50 maybe cheaper Mr stoney sold some at $27!!!!

We need a different format, can't lose track of these ideas. You say you don't lose track but when I work an idea inside out and come up with two very good reasons why to buy the stock and then ask you for one more reason.. you went silent... Had you dug up something postive we would all be in.

We have a huge problem in NYC with paper / fake license plates. Texas has been selling temp paper plates to anyone who will pay and even shipping out of state!

I'm kind of done with Texas... They win. Lets just make them part of Mexico.

Anyway I was thinking about our various license plate readers we came up with in the old thread and wondering if any of them could figure out how to spot a paper plate vs a real one. So far No this has been a huge problem.

  • Meanwhile, Silverstein says CEO Pekka Lundmark is following the playbook of Borje Ekholm's dramatic turn-around of Ericsson(NASDAQ:ERIC); he's only one year in at Nokia and "we think it is a safe assessment that further meaningful progress and attending upside lies ahead."
  • Cowen has raised its target on Nokia to $8 from $5, now implying 31.6% upside.
 
Dear Joe. I think you take any $2+ move up on the infrastructure bill and sell. Although I love this company I am removing it next week because organic growth is probably 5% and I cannot guarantee they buy someone.

Perhaps rotating into Van's FLR would keep you in the space, albeit with a lesser return.

Or maybe take a look at Grow Generation in the weed space. They are buying people left and right. ~si
