Hey speaking of marine biology, (we weren't but now we are)... that is some cool stuff. I read this article about Octopi... I had no idea they were that smart. Kinda spooky things. 9 brains. There's all kinds of things we've only discovered in recent years. They say we know more about the surface of Mars than we do about our ocean floors. I guess I never really thought about it. There's some strange creatures way down there at the bottom though. Pretty cool.

Atai rang the opening bell at Nasdaq last month with a $225 million IPO, selling 15 million shares at a price of $15 when trading opened on June 18 at $21. The company has raised over $362 million since its inception in 2018.

Credit Suisse said Atai “is attractively positioned to capitalize on increased investor/public awareness around psychedelic drug development,” with multiple catalysts in the next 12 to 18 months, including M&A action and results from various ongoing trials.

Aegis said, “Investors cannot appraise the psychedelic medicine space without giving significant consideration to Atai.”

The firm noted that the company has “constructed a uniquely diverse and powerful platform - judging by the number of indications being pursued, the variety of the APIs, and the quality of the leadership and investor base - which provides exposure to what we believe to be the most high-potential psychedelic substances and most relevant use cases.”

Marine biology & Oceanography I wonder if they are different. My son wants to major in this although I'm not so sure.

We have been looking at U of Miami from that list. // Univ of Rhode Island // Boston U // College of Charleston // Also ELON but they do not have this area of study.

AMRS is a special stock. I owned this at $2 and sold it at $4 plus thought myself pretty pretty smart. It never stopped. AMRS is currently $13. If i had just held... I'd have no troubles now.

Anyway because of prior ownership and interest I have been forced to read on and on about AMRS even though I didn't want to. Very hard to describe company, it's products are used in a wide range of end markets...

Ginko SPAC..... This QTR..... I dunno... The SPAC massacre may be over... I think Ginko is pretty big in the space....

So this cat came on CNBC and made a SPAC move up alot an almost impossible job. He is now the poster child for how to talk about a SPAC. And no skin off his ass, he made a purchase to boot<-- The very next day! Another sign to other CEO's this is how you do it... The company Wheels Up.

  • With network security in the spotlight, Ives says that tech stocks could rise by more than 10% in the second half of the year.
  • Along with Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet, Ives says other security companies that are likely to perform well with their results are Varonis Systems (VRNS+0.3%), Zscaler (ZS-0.5%) and SailPoint Technologies (SAIL-0.6%).
