Let's Get Sezzle...... ?

Sezzle reiterated as top pick after Discover investment at DA Davidson 08:15 SEZNL, DFS DA Davidson analyst Christopher Brendler says Discover's (DFS) $30M investment in Sezzle (SEZNL) at an 11% premium A$13.25 adds to his confidence in the story. Sezzle's "top-rated platform and ESG-friendly culture are resonating with large consumer franchises that may not need competitors' superior scale," Brendler tells investors in a research note. He reiterates a Buy rating on Sezzle with an A$13.25 price target and reiterates the stock as a top pick, saying the shares are still trading at a "sizable discount to its large-cap peers despite superior growth prospects."

Apple reportedly planning 'buy now, pay later' service

The service will let consumers finance Apple Pay purchases on a monthly payment plan, Bloomberg reports.

July 13, 2021 4:06 p.m. PT

Apple is developing a new "buy now, pay later" service that'll let customers pay for Apple Pay purchases on an installment basis over time, Bloomberg reported Tuesday.

The service, dubbed Apple Pay Later, will use Goldman Sachs as the lender, unidentified sources told the news agency. Goldman Sachs has partnered with Apple on its Apple Credit credit card since 2019, but the new service isn't tied to the card, Bloomberg reported.
