A)..... the 5.35% bump doesn't count at GBA when it's already up that much pre-market....
and B)....

B) Ahhh whatever..... its a friggin IPO that 98% of the idiots have zero clue about. Not that I do, I'm just driving/writing with the flow; as these things go.

I have zero idea what this stock is about.... but do I really need to?
It doesn't matter. It may go to $70 on Monday.
In the end.... water always seeks its level.
It'll be in the teens by January.

Oh geeze Van don't make quick judgements. For me to bless an exotic fintech with some backdoor crypto action you know there's meat there.

At the very very end of the day last half hour someone big got in. They got in because I put them in. 20,000 shares probably. Go tick by tick and you can see when it came in... it goes 4K... 3K... 4K... 30K<----o_O

Next week initiations price targets and away we go. Will I be involved? That is always the slow moving question as I like to really get my facts straight. You were no help with the lock up or anything! So I asked for an official review from the HF> I cannot ask for too many of these... so it's important enough. The interesting thing is they said they were working on a " crypro update "

Next week I'll get both. If they think it's really pricey I'll watch from the sidelines. I like what I've seen so far about how this co went about going public they looked at all options and choose the correct one.

Perhaps I'm not the only guy starting to weaken in that Crypto regard. It's just if there's only going to be one mania-- I'd rather it be Crypto than Robin Hood.

Got Saki'ed up last night and went on 1st Dibs. I don't remember much but two offers have been accepted!

A)1stDibs (DIBS) opened on June 10 at $21.50. The company had priced 5.75M shares at $20.00. The deal priced inside the $18.00-$21.00 range. BofA and Barclays acted as joint book running managers for the offering. 1stDibs is an online marketplace for connecting design lovers with sellers and makers of vintage, antique, and contemporary furniture, home decor, art, jewelry, watches and fashion.


B)Marqeta (MQ) opened on June 9 at $32.50. The company had priced 45.5M shares at $27.00, above the $20.00-$24.00 target range. Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan acted as joint book running managers for the offering. Marqeta operates a payment-card platform used by companies such as Affirm Holdings (AFRM) and DoorDash (DASH).
 
I am a voracious consumer and I was born from an interior decorator / Antique Dealer Mother.

I was there when Ebay started. In fact I bought my first NYC car on Ebay before they had Ebay Motors and it was my 1st purchase of any kind on Ebay. A 1991 Mercedes wagon with special west coast paint job- From St Louis! That took balls.

Some guy arrived in the city and dropped it off with a dead battery.

Back then the hand holding and good feelings after a transaction were not there. For ten years I ran with my wife our clothing store in lower NYC and we had vintage women's and we hunted on Ebay a lot. Ebay had it's ups and downs- for a long while it was clicking-- and then it got extremely bad. Bots , robot s and swipers and last second takers.... It all became automated. before that my wife and I would be out at the beach in Fire Island watching some fab piece she had to have for the store and we would watch our watches for when the auction was about to end and then taking into account the slow dial up service and modem we would wait til about 1 minute thirty and send the bid!<---- Oh we thought ourselves pretty pretty smart.

Well suddenly computers were doing that and Ebay became no fun. We had a long drought. Recently changes have been made and Ebay is now more hip, more like AMZN not so collectable
and fine art.... Huge markets in shoes, sneakers, whatever, Ebay did it's thing and there was a opening for high end stuff... And in came 1st Dibs.

With all my experience in retail and on the computer with early Ebay etc... I can tell you upfront 1st Dibs has improved themselves greatly over the past 5 years. The tweaks to the interface have been very good. Communication is made easy between buyer and seller... in the past there was a lot of work around you would figure out who the seller is and call them on the phone and offer them less... I did this many times. But Dibs cleverly worked an make an offer angle which opens up lines of communication that stay tethered to Dib's infrastructure and indeed large fish like myself are trapped in their safe ecosystem.

I like it. You get a clear graph that says bought here to be delivered here and it's super clean.
Efficient and more importantly one feels like they can make a large ticket purchase on Dibs In a way I would never do on Ebay. I can remember bad customer service as " resolutions :" that went nowhere on Ebay. Dibs gives the impression that you are covered. There is some guarantee... and there may not be!!!!! But the feeling is that there is --that Dibs is guaranteeing the authenticity of what you are getting.

The fun part bout Dibing is you find that item you like rather random or search for it but then you can see everything that that store wherever it is has to offer and (I watch that show with the 2 guys buying Americana) I " Bundle " Franks' trick.....

Apparently last night I bought a Christopher Dresser jug from 1900 AND a glass tulip bulb holder! They can be shipped together and are coming from the UK.
