I'm leaning towards Trex over Azek now Van. They appear better positioned and have capacity coming online at just the right moment. Passing through costs etc. Thought it would pull in but it really hasn't /richly priced. -

I made a few bucks on that stupid drone company... stoney I don't know about avantium, don't think anyone is making money on bioplastics yet...but they will at some point, so it's one to watch I think. did they ever get their factory ok'd? right now it seems like the sustainability stocks that actually make things people buy right this second asap (recycled motor oil, pine resin) and that aren't trying to save the world are the only ones doing well.

But just so you know, there is absolutely zero difference in a protecting a meat processor's freezer controls (or whatever) that are cloud based, as there is protecting a friggin' pipeline valve out in the middle of Nowhere, USA where the rubber meets the road. But in your defense.... when it only trades 8K shares/day @ $0.50 with zero market depth.... the owners of this toilet pig can drop about $25K, hit the non-existent ask price, and knock the damn thing up 30%....

I don't use a hedge fund. I have my funds managed by a guy who is a partner at a hedge fund; it is a set up that we made when my Mother was alive and great friends with this guy. He lived across the road from my Mom's house. He basically oversees me and makes sure I don't get out of control. I have a bit of a reputation at a few brokerages... I would never pay 2 & 20%!!!!!!!
But this set up has it's limits they don't exactly ring me up and say we are buying this stock. I bring ideas to them on a regular basis (I'm sure they are sick of me) and sometimes they say things like oh we like that one we have it in our small cap blah blah or our long /short blah blah and that indicates to me that we are on the same page. Sometimes they " magically " buy themselves my ideas -- which I take as a great compliment. Sometimes they say oh we are shorting that one-- and I run.
In fact they would refuse that purchase of the 50 cent stock. - Most recently I gave a big pitch about SURF. Pray For Me!
