Amazon shareholders today voting on single use plastic. re: Amazon attempting to destroy the planet:

"A recent report found that Amazon generated 465 million pounds of plastic packaging waste in 2019 of which 22+ million pounds is now polluting the world’s oceans and waterways. And the problem has only grown worse since COVID began as the pandemic has fueled huge growth in Amazon sales.

But now Amazon's shareholders have a chance to require the company to produce a report on its single-use plastic footprint. Amazon is urging them to vote "No" but our oceans need them to vote "Yes"!

Amazon is a rip off they tried to sell me a case of water that I had bought before $11 higher!
They wanted $60+ for a case of Iceland Spring.

There is a lawsuit starting that bares watching vs Amazon States are trying to get other states involved and it could turn into a BIG issue for the company.

In the Biden eight years we are going to see AMZN and FB get hit.
Question of when.

seriously amazon is creating a nightmare situation with their plastics. years from now we will look back at this time and shake our heads. also don't buy bottle water. even my local co op puts everything in plastic clam shell packaging. local takeout places advertise how bio-sustainable all their food is and then they stick the crap in plastic.
 
miss the days about mid-february when you could make money on bio plastic stocks. the only thing i'm watching that's doing well right now is that australian bio-plastic stock that is rising because they seem not to be doing bio-plastics and bought a pine resin factory. i had it, sold it for profit, wish i still had it:
