- Vuzix (NASDAQ:VUZI) announces that research institute KDDI Research has developed hands-free nursing care support system employing Vuzix Smart Glasses.
- The support system was developed in conjunction with Tokyo-based social welfare company Zenkokai.
- "Healthcare opportunities continue to steadily expand for Vuzix around the globe and this smart nursing care support system developed by KDDI Research in conjunction with Zenkokai is yet another example of how using smart glasses can make a real difference in people's lives," says Vuzix CEO Paul Travers. - VUZI shares are up 4% to $12.98.

First it was Thursday and we said move to Friday, our bad. Then it was Friday and it never came then it was Monday, today we wait and now they say tomorrow. In that time we have had two and are expecting a third major snowstorm. I have shoveled the driveway the back deck and a path inbetween now three times... And They say it's a big, big box that they are not going to help me with. So they drop it off down my the bridge in a snowstorm tomorrow and inside is a fancy old couch. I think we are like Baron's ugly stepchildren, perhaps best kept up in the basement without much fanfare.... I wonder why. After all we have done for this site lifting it from boring musings about Tesla to an active Gummy Community!!! That's what we are!!! We are inclusive, we are safe and we are hot. What could be better?
And that safe part is important. Through two threads now and probably 800 ideas can you think of one that really blew up? No. There have been a couple clunkers but no fraud, no oh my god I was fooled... the ideas have had a grounding quality backed by research. Nothing is by accident.
Time frames have been accelerated but the research still provides a level of reality to a unreality market.
