Lordstown Motors sees production of electric van starting in 2H22 07:13 RIDE, CWH The Lordstown Motors (RIDE) Electric Van is in development with plans to be unveiled in June and production starting in the second half of 2022. Based on the Endurance platform, the van will utilize hub motors to achieve all-wheel drive and low ground clearance, and have a class-leading range. An initial use case of the van will be as the world's first production all-electric RV, produced in partnership with Camping World (CWH), the company said. The van will be priced competitively with comparable internal combustion-based vans.

J&J is great news because it can last along time in a normal fridge and it kept people from dying at 100% rate<--- I mean that's huge, that's taking the whole cyclatic storm ARSD or whatever out of the picture! <-- And maybe a few biotech working on that problem with it.....

yah, it seems like with J&J the market reacted to the more modest efficiacy rate but not the huge need for vaccines and what you said about the solutions it offers.
 
They have an Auto Plant:While NKLA and SPAQ currently lack the infrastructure to manufacture vehicles, Lordstown acquired a 6.2 million square foot assembly plant from General Motors, that is outfitted with equipment that was most recently used to manufacture the Chevy Cruze and has a combined replacement value of approximately $3 billion.

 
This story gets weird but GM plant about to close and Trump is involved.
President Trump has tweeted about the company and Vice President Pence was front and center at the launch of its flagship model,Endurance, in June 2020.

Since Trump can't ever get anything right the original company was Workhorse to take the plant and save those jobs! When that fell through there was a lot space for egg on the face..So The Trump team puled some strings and got Lordstown involved--- Resulting in their ultimate deal for this plant being a steal.

By any characterization, Lordstown's acquisition of the GM plant was a sweetheart deal. Instead of spending billions of dollars over multiple years, Burns was able to land a fully operational 6.2 million square foot facility for a mere $20 million. GM also committed to providing Lordstown with up to $50 million in debt to upgrade the facility from its most recent purpose of assembling the Chevrolet Cruze to building the future of pickup trucks.

This move was very similar to Tesla's $42 million acquisition of GM and Toyota's Fresno, California plant in October 2010, which has since been dubbed the Tesla Factory.
 
Tilray shares have not reached levels that could indicate an imminent pullback. Tilray shares were trading around $20 per share prior to the COVID-led market selloff in March 2020, and its shares are still trading below pre-COVID levels which is another consideration that supports potentially further upside from current levels. For reference, Tilray has actually underperformed most other Canadian LPs in the last 12 months as its shares only gained 13% since Jan 1, 2020, while many other LPs saw far better performances, including Village Farms (VFF) up 134% and Aphria up 124%. Therefore, we believe the recent share price gains only made up some of the relative underperformance in 2020 but Tilray shares remain within reasonable trading ranges if you look back on the past 12 months. Hopefully, this help put Tilray's recent rally into perspective and support our conclusion that the situation is very different from what happened in late 2018 at least based on the gains so far.

Secondly, we think the Aphria/Tilray combination will lead to the creation of a leading Canadian LP that has stronger business fundamentals than Canopy. The combined entity will have the largest market share in Canada, a leading presence in Germany and Europe, and reasonable adjacent businesses in hemp food, European pharma distribution, and U.S. craft brewery. These businesses are all profitable and related to cannabis, unlike some of the acquisitions made by other Canadian LPs. Therefore, we think Tilray shares hold substantial upside because it trades below Canopy and Cronos. Using a range of 35-40x EV/Sales which is at the low-end of Canopy's multiple, Tilray shares could be worth $25-$30 <------

Tilray sees U.S. legalization of cannabis within two years, CNBC reports 16:36 TLRY Tilray CEO Brendan Kennedy believes the U.S. will take steps towards federal legalization of marijuana, ultimately leading the country to implement a federal program "at some point in the next 18 to 24 months," Kennedy said on CNBC's "Squawk on the Street." Earlier this month, Mexico published regulations for medical cannabis use and Kennedy is confident that Mexico and Canada's positive stance on cannabis will quickly lead to legalization in the U.S.
