I was bidding this weekend at a large multi-state on-line auction for a piece of equipment, but you know what I noticed, they had like 50 brand new 12,500 Watt home generators that listed for like $1800, DeWalts, and they all sold for around $400-$500. I don't need one or I'd have bought one.

The point is... America may be flush in back-up power supplies. The thought crossed my mind... is GNRC gonna miss? I mean we are supposedly going to have a big hurricane season... I fail to see how DeWalt would fire-sale brand spanking new generators that are large enough to power a decent size home. And these were tri-fuel too. Ie, gasoline, propane, or natty.

I was pretty sure $103 would be the bottom if the tide headed out in a big way. That's where it closed yesterday. The low this week was $101, and it was only below $103 for 2 hours or so.

You should point that out to Stoney... not too bad since it was trading at $126 when I wrote this:

Q: What's a 7% haircut on a $3T marketcap come out to?
A: Who cares... btfd.

Especially at $103ish if it gets in that neighborhood.

Take only a 25% stake just in case, but I think it's going lower. It may be dead money for a bit.

Tell Stoney the magic pencil nailed another one to the penny though. He's still relatively healthy, so we won't have to worry about messing up his head too bad.
