The Kentucky Derby was very good this year, but it falls short of the palpable emotion that was on display Saturday. Nearly 50,000 fans erupted into a frenzy as the sensational filly made her prolonged stretch run at the champion male Fierceness.

The Breeders’ Cup menu in a few months at Del Mar will be hard pressed to deliver anything that comes close to this epic battle.

As good as the champion male was, however, it was the runner-up,Thorpedo Anna, who stole the show.

To say Thorpedo Anna ran a good race or proved she belonged falls short of describing her Travers performance.

We saw the good Fierceness on Saturday, and he got the jump on her at a key juncture. It appeared he was home free, but then Thorpedo Anna displayed just what kind of filly she is.

  • Ortex-reported short interest on Oddity Tech (ODD) had tracked in a 28%-31% range since the last week of May, though this week had seen an outsized increase in bearish interest. Shorts as a percentage of free float jumped from 29% to record high of 43%. Meanwhile, despite the relatively high-volume days of Wednesday and Thursday, days-to-cover ratio on the stock also rose from 10.1 to record-high 12.7. The stock was down 6.4% in the five-day period through Thursday and also did not participate in Friday's broader market melt-up, slipping another 1%. Year-to-date, Oddity Tech is down about 18%.
ODD Update- stk has been acting uber weird I've been noticing these fluctuations between $38 and $40 I thought this was basing for a big move up but this news is a tad concerning...
 
I've got this neat stock Kraken. Since 42 cents. I have them loosely with my drone plays but they have dwindled.. so it's a play on water drones.
