Folks, I started this thread as a fun exercise in self control. It was near impossible to disengage from House Of Gummy which set every record here at ET.

But I don't like using a crutch and I wanted a fresh start so I could take you through the correction and hopefully out the other side.

I'm not saying we are there yet..

However-- I take my kid back to school soon and then the NFL season is really upon us and I need to get back into my sports writing mode.

Do not be surprised if this thread ends much quicker than past ones.

Stopping Corrections are like turning around a cruise ship. It's a tedious process... first you just have to get the boat facing the right direction and we have done that.

For actual fuel, this Jackson Hole conference LOOMS very large. I am old enough to remember this very Conference spiraling us into despair in the past.. The Fed will have to have it's ducks in order at this time.. the slightest sign of confusion and the market will turn on them and us...

Also Jackson Hole could provide the fuel we need for this cruise ship to get sailing along again.
