So we had some out of town guests this weekend and they have a "puppy." It's a decent sized lab, but it still wasn't house broke, so they wanted to leave it out in the garage. Good doggie though. I made a nice bed for it, propped open the side door so it could go in and out, and since it was warm last night, me being so nice, I went out and cracked the garage door behind my car a couple of feet so it could maybe have a breeze. You know me Vz-- I'm on cup six right now this will be the last one.
Give me ten minutes and cough up that story!
Well when I cracked the door, I just pushed the switch and the door started up and I pushed it again to stop it when it was a few feet open. No biggie right?
Well this morning I had to drop off some paperwork early and I wanted to get back in time for the bell. So I let Muttley and this beast out, jumped in the car, sipping coffee, sleep in my eyes, checking my phone... I reach up on the visor, hit the opener... look at my phone some more, drop the car in reverse and BAM!!!! I hit the garage door.
It's just habit ya know. Hit the button, wait a few seconds, and go. The problem is, I had stopped the door last night when it was going up, so when I hit the button this morning, it went down. Oh well, I was quick enough to not do any damage. I'm so scatter-brained sometimes.
