I was thinking the same thing. Does UPS maintain profits at these UPS stores? It seems like the old McDonalds method.. these managers are vested..

But I was thinking the same thing.

UPS itself is so messed up. To send something priority 1 day or 2 they say $150.

Then the guy weighing the box says I'd just send it Ground it will probably get their in 2 days...

So everything is mailed ground.

A) Bring down your special 1 day and 2 day pricing!!!

B) slow down the Ground which is so efficient.

I can't find the receipt but i swear i had a $20 bill in my hands and two boxes and my kid printed out his temp Drivers License.

To do that was $26<----- !!!!!!!!!
I knew a couple that owned one, they do pretty well. I'm pretty sure they have quite a bit of leeway on their prices of some things, but shipping costs are 100% set by UPS. Stuff like getting a document notarized, making copies, selling scotch-tape etc... that's where they're allowed to juice people.

I thought about taking a position on that one yesterday for earnings, I couldn't get a good feel for it. Chart looks ok, but I think AI will put the title insurance industry out of business. Or a big portion of it.

IT SEEMS LIKE A HUGE BIZ. They often are the only notary in town...
