Uber, Lyft drivers face rider issues as states lift mask rules, WSJ reports 06:41 UBER, LYFT Drivers for Uber (UBER) and Lyft (LYFT) are facing a new challenge as states begin lifting mask mandates, Preetika Rana of The Wall Street Journal reports. The ride-sharing companies still require riders and drivers to wear masks while in the shared vehicle, but drivers have said the rules are becoming harder to enforce as governments push for widespread reopening. This tension between drivers and riders, paired with rising gas prices, has caused many workers to be discouraged from returning to the ride-share work. Uber spokesman Andrew Hasbun said driver complaints about maskless riders remained consistent in February compared to June of last year, which was the first full month of the mask mandate. Hasbun added, "Riders and drivers who repeatedly violate our 'No Mask. No Ride' policy continue to risk losing access to Uber." Lyft spokeswoman Ashley Adams said "drivers have our full support to decline any ride that makes them feel unsafe.

He’s complaining about gas prices in Los Angeles eating away his Uber pay. He called again saying he wants another grubstake. You interested in financing him Stoney?

LXU $21, my basis is $15.8 after buying another $5,000 at $17.80 during the bond sale. SKIn holding out well, good old dump luck!
