Snap restricts friend suggestions for teenagers 12:03 SNAP Snap said in a blog post yesterday that it is developing new measures to keep its community safe on Snapchat, including expanding its work to make the platform safer for minors. "As a platform built for close friends, we designed Snapchat to make it difficult for strangers to find and connect with minors," the company said. "For example, Snapchatters cannot see each other's friend lists, we don't allow browsable public profiles for anyone under 18 and, by default, you cannot receive a message from someone who isn't already your friend. While we know that drug dealers seek to connect with potential customers on platforms outside of Snapchat, we want to do everything we can to keep minors from being discovered on Snapchat by people who may be engaging in illegal or harmful behavior. We recently added a new safeguard to Quick Add, our friend suggestion feature, to further protect 13 to 17 year olds. In order to be discoverable in Quick Add by someone else, users under 18 will need to have a certain number of friends in common with that person -- further ensuring it is a friend they know in real life. In the coming months, we will be sharing more details about the new parental tools we are developing, with the goal of giving parents more insight into who their teens are talking to on Snapchat, while still respecting their privacy."

It was eye opening when I got sick.

When you puke acid you strain your body and you get throat damage and side pain back pain and ironically... your eye site gets better.

Prior to getting sick my big fear was my eyes. Up close I can't see anymore. Shhhhhhhhhh.
This better not get back to DMV... But yea I've been freaking out about my eyes. And then when I first came back here over the weekend they were better. The eye strain of puking had focused me...

Which gets back to that ABBV drop....

Itron signs contract to deploy Temetra 01/12 ITRI Itron announced that it signed a contract to deploy Temetra, Itron's next generation meter data collection and management solution for the Electricity Supply Board's networks company to optimize operations and improve meter data management for Ireland's distribution network operator. ESB Networks will begin deploying Temetra in 2022 in conjunction with its Smart Metering Program for the roll out of smart meters across Ireland as part of the National Climate Action Plan. With Temetra, the utility will be equipped to efficiently read 1.75M meters across ESB Networks' service territory.
