Turning Point Brands gets USPS shipping exemption 16:40 TPB Turning Point Brands "announced that it has received a United States Postal Service exemption to ship vapor products to thousands of age-restricted vape shops across the United States through VaporBeast and other websites". Marc Waxman, President of NewGen at Turning Point Brands says: "As one of the first to apply for and receive an exemption from the USPS, we are now able to increase the number of shipping options we offer our customers. This will allow for optimized order processing, more accurate tracking data, and faster overall shipping times."

BioDelivery Sciences wins in BELBUCA ANDA litigation against Alvogen Group 16:29 BDSI BioDelivery Sciences announced that the U.S. District Court of Delaware has issued an opinion in favor of BDSI in the company's patent litigation against Alvogen Group and its affiliates, who filed an Abbreviated New Drug Application for BDSI's BELBUCA product on May 23, 2018. The opinion by the trial judge upholds the validity of claims in BDSI's patents 8,147,866 (the '866 patent), which expires in 2027, and 9,901,539 (the '539 patent), which expires in 2032. Alvogen conceded infringement of these claims. Accordingly, BDSI expects market exclusivity of BELBUCA against Alvogen until 2032.

  • Planet 13 Holdings(OTCQX:PLNHF)and Next Green Wave Holdings(OTCQX:NXGWF)haveenteredinto an agreement pursuant to which Planet 13 will acquire all of the issued and outstanding common shares of Next Green Wave (NGW), for total consideration of ~C$91M.
  • Under the terms of the agreement, shareholders of NGW will receive 0.1081 of a common share of Planet 13, and $0.0001 in cash, for each NGW Share held.
  • Based on Planet 13's 10-day volume weighted average price and the Exchange Ratio, the implied deal price per NGW Share is C$0.465.
  • After giving effect to the transaction, NGW Shareholders will hold ~9.2% ownership in the pro-forma company.
  • The transaction is expected to be immediately accretive to 2021 and 2022 EBITDA.
  • NGW's operations will serve as the backbone of Planet 13's continued focus on the California market. The acquisition will enable Planet 13 to introduce their diverse brand portfolio of exotic, pheno-hunted cultivars to the Santa Ana SuperStore as well as across the state.

Now this potential reverse merger with 'Triller' may be a Trump platform I cannot support it but all the idiots who brought the Trump SPAC may be mucking around here.-

  • Bloomberg reported a week ago about a potential likely reverse merger transaction between SeaChange and Triller, sending SeaChange shares up almost 130%. A deal would value Triller at a premium to its most recent valuation of about $1.25B.
  • Triller is a competitor to ByteDance's (BDNCE) TikTok platform. The Triller app has counted former President Donald Trump and entertainers Roddy Ricch, Eminem and Alicia Keys as users. A deal for Triller comes after YouTube competitor Rumble announced a deal to go public through SPAC CF Acquisition VI (NASDAQ:CFVI) earlier this month.
  • SeaChange is beging mentioned on social media again todayvafter the stock was a hot topic last week after the Triller deal speculation.

While I'm here....

Remember how I pointed out that bear put spread on CHWY right before earnings? That I explained to you 3 times how it worked and you still didn't get the concept? Whatever on that, but I'm going somewhere with it.

For the last two days I've been seeing the same kinda thing with 2022 puts on both the Nasdaq and S&P.
And these are not small bets. We're talking some in excess of $25M in one trade. There's some very smart people out there betting big money against this market.

I think 2022, despite what every expert and their brother is out there is saying.... I think 2022 just might be a bear market buddy. Recession? Beats me... but I watched a $15M bet yesterday that implicated the Nasdaq is gonna get 20% plus haircut in 2022. I also saw tons of "smaller" bets (> $1M) implicating the exact same thing.

I saw zero bullish bets.

Whaaaaatever.
