BorgWarner added to 'short-term Catalyst Call Buy List' at Deutsche Bank 11/04 BWA, GM, WOLF Deutsche Bank analyst Emmanuel Rosner added BorgWarner (BWA) to the firm's "short-term Catalyst Call Buy List." The analyst, who keeps a Hold rating on the shares, believes investors could come to better value the company's "growing traction" in the electrification space. On its Q3 earnings call, BorgWarner disclosed its largest inverter award to date and indicated it has already booked 90% of its targeted 2025 electric vehicle revenue, which showcases the company's "overall solid traction with EV," Rosner tells investors in a research note. He believes the large SiC inverter win could be with General Motors (GM) for future models on its Ultium platform, in partnership with Wolfspeed (WOLF). If this is eventually confirmed, having GM as one of the global leaders in electrification source its next-gen SiC inverters from BorgWarner "could help materially improve investors' perception of BWA's future role in an EV world," says Rosner.
