GBA Presents: THE GREEN MARKET

What we have in our favor though this cycle is all the estimates in PT for MTTR are around where the stk is so these guys can say 'see we were right and raise estimates & PT's as is their want.

It's a hold thru earnings I think. And hope they can talk up i- phone sometimes Apple puts a lock on that<----

On the other hand if they delay roll out for i-phone that would be bad.

I don't see that happening -these guys need each other -

MTTR is a tricky question. On the surface you would think earnings are not a big part of the story now- it's more about over promising -- They just got into Android phones and Apple to come... So many phones but how may people will download the 3D apt app and how many will sign up fro some sort of subscription.. the recurring revenue aspect of this is murky...
I just started a thread about it and why it'll keep going.

seeking to understand our brave new world, i entered Decentraland - considered to be a front-runner for Meta aka Facebook's metaverse. for a cool 55000 MANA (the crypto currency of choice in Decentraland = $2.94/MANA = $161,700) one can buy this plot of land (red) close to the Decentraland University. in case you are curious- all of the turquoise plots are for sale, the purple seems to be government land and black is not for sale - and the size of Decentraland is enormous.

i dove into the action and here's what 55,000 MANA buy. I'm pretty sure that's 55 thousand and not 55 (see below).

Stoney!!!!

Hey what was the name of that obscure $2 Canadian stock that you found last year, the one that monitored pipeline leaks? Remember? The one I laughed at, said was way over-priced, and called a stupid idea at the time? :D

Lets re-visit and take a look.

Biden unveils sweeping new U.S. methane emission rules at COP26 climate summit

November 2, 2021

A new Environmental Protection Agency rule to be finalized next month will require oil and gas wells — including older, more leak-prone wells — to monitor for methane leaks, capture natural gas typically released alongside oil drilling, and require emissions-free control valves at oil and gas sites. The EPA says the new rule will cover about 75 percent of all U.S. methane emissions, and the Biden administration will tackled more with future regulations.

Separately, the Transportation Department's Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration is finalizing a rule

that extends leak monitoring and other safety requirements to 400,000 miles of previously unregulated pipelines between gas wells and centralized sites.

OK... I found it lol.
I gave it the thumbs down at the time because Stoney wanted to use it as a cyber-security play against hackers.
Of course I was right, that's not their thing.... but I did remember what their thing is.

Leaks!

A Crazy Stoney Classic:

I Have A Contest Idea. The 500% solution. Can you give me a stock that will go up 500%.

I have a 50 cent stock that has huge potential- It's Canadian naturally...
the last one of these I turned up was that makeover corporate stk DIGG that went from $1--$3 and likewise my Canadian Drone stk went from $1.50--> very high and back and my Good Natured is Canadian... so please indulge me. I am 3 for 3 across the boarder.

Description

OneSoft Solutions Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides software solutions to the oil and gas pipeline industry in Canada, Australia, and the United States. It offers Cognitive Integrity Management, a software-as-a-service application that uses the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform and services, which includes machine learning, predictive analytics, business intelligence reporting, and other data science components to assist pipeline companies to prevent pipeline failures. The company was formerly known as Serenic Corporation and changed its name to OneSoft Solutions Inc. in July 2014. OneSoft Solutions Inc. is headquartered in Edmonton, Canada.

Absolutely non of that made any sense. But if I could boil it down to Pipelines. For now pipelines that you usually fire a " pig " through to figure out if it's clogged.. Now a much more artful AI way of doing this in the cloud. In the cloud offers 3 layers of piracy/ hack protection by MSFT.

Yes that can be broken but YES that is a help. Pipleline operators have been using old school tech forever and have had not been made to invest in much upkeep tech wise on the big pipeines. Colonial's hacking shows that change is a must here and Biden's team has insisted on it.

These guys have a solution that morphs nicely into protection from hackers... some protection anyway but a lot of energy companies are going to come to these guys this year I think.

Plus they will tell you water systems and other large potential markets are out there....

unconventional, i try to keep up with things but wow i am confused by this

i inadvertently fell down the rabbit hole (see "down the rabbit hole" nft sold by the Economist for over $400K and related articles). what started as buying a few crypto coins ended with me opening a metamask wallet and wandering around the metaverse for several hours (crypto is a helluva drug). Why does it matter in this forum? MTTR, U, FB, and several other tickers we've discussed are investments in the potential of a metaverse (plus anything related to crypto currencies). right now it's pixelated and seems cheap and not many people are there, but it's possible to imagine a Matterport digital copy of real places popping up on prime Decentraland real estate. that image of Sotheby's is literally Sotheby's boutique where you can buy bored monkey NFTs. did anyone watch Zuckerberg's hour long video explaining his idea of the Metaverse? or see Munger's design of windowless dorms? it's all connected. my head's still spinning
