Abbott upgraded to Overweight at Atlantic Equities on strong execution 06:31 ABT Atlantic Equities analyst James Mainwaring upgraded Abbott to Overweight from Neutral with a price target of $144, up from $115, stating after the company's recent Q3 report that he was "impressed with the strong execution in the underlying business," noting that every division beat expectations. Abbott's Medical Device portfolio is "market leading" in terms of its growth outlook, while its Established Pharmaceuticals, Nutrition and Diagnostic divisions give it attractive cash flow streams that are growing, said Mainwaring, who also cites the stock's recent underperformance for his change in rating.
That's one of the reasons I've always followed this stock, they're diversified but not too much. Well run company. Always has been.

Folks, it is with some heaviness to the heart that I attack the market today. A friend of ours has entered hospice. WTF. It's no fun being old enough that people you know start dying. But we just lost one old childhood friend of my wife to breast cancer and now we have a more recent friend who tried to treat herself with plant meds. She's real off the grid type and for a while it was working and the Dr's were all amazed because she had a large amount of tumors in her abdomin. Then of course she started asking for funds. We gave but how much can you give when the funds are going to pretty out there stuff, even super infused THC up the rear end... not kidding. But her routine involved twenty or thirty plant-based pills three times a day just exhausting no one can keep up with that. I am an alternative guy I always look for other ideas, I hate Dr's but for the longest time now it seems to not be working.... FUCK CANCER.
