Holy cow Stoney.... I just looked, it closed at $63!!!!!
Bro, you're on a string of losers.
The call-outs on CRM etc were good....
But maybe that braggadociousness of being the best stock picker of all time, at least here at ET.... maybe the trading gods are coming back to bite you in the ass.
What have I always told you?
Humility goes a long ways in stocks.
The lack thereof....
.... a formula for disaster.
Maybe sacrifice a chicken?

2 Interesting companies.) ) ) )

I've been thinking more and more about 3D Printing. This is a way to start manufacturing in America again and help with the supply chain issue. Already you can print a small house.
I don't belive this co is a 3D printing company but they seem like they would be involved...

Five9 upgraded to Overweight from Sector Weight at KeyBanc 05:18

I heard a guy ion the TV who was smart. And he recommended FIVE and I got all excited because I own Five Below the retailer.. But of course he was talking about another Five.
He made it sound really good---

FIVN, ZM KeyBanc analyst Michael Turits upgraded Five9 (FIVN) to Overweight from Sector Weight with a $200 price target following survey data and discussions with channel partners. The analyst sees Five9 as one of the best positioned names in communications software. Partners see a durable CX modernization trend and the company gaining share, Turits tells investors in a research note. He views the near-term disruption from the failed Zoom Video (ZM) merger as a buying opportunity.<----------

Zoom Video Van... I feel very confident that FIVN is a good buy.

Maybe a FIVE for FIVE swap!

I really dig the idea of making our own parts using computers, software and 3D printing.

Stoney!!!!
Did you get the chicken?
SNAP @ $55 pre-market.
Easy money or a bull trap?

Super tough question. Right now these companies are hurting because of Apple's changes it made to their (I'll be honest i don't understand) the give and take between these developers and selling at he Apple store and what Apple skims etc.

Initially I went through this problem and found a rather modest hit to everyone's earnings. FB, SNAP etc. BUT SOMETHING BIG CHANGED the metric companies that measure the ads and target placement they got jittery and advertising came into question- and down the stocks went. It's a 1,2 punch. So what next.

RBLX we have shorted at $90 for Granny and it bottomed at $70. The stk is acting like it is somewhat insulated from this... Does RBLX sell more through their own channel> right and not rely on the ap store<--- That's my thinking as I have been looking at going long RBLX. Even if all the kids in China can't play.

So my approach would be twofold. Buy RBLX over SNAP for now and wait for any news about Apple changing this new policy... I think they just might and then SNAP would go up $10.~

Is Facebook's Focus on the Metaverse Good or Bad News for Roblox?
The answer might surprise you.

  • Facebook is already making moves to become a metaverse company.
  • Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is leading the charge.
  • Roblox could benefit in a world where most people know about the metaverse.

Facebook(NASDAQ:FB)is developing plans to enter the metaverse. In case you are unfamiliar, the metaverse is a virtual environment where people can interact with each other and their surroundings.

One company that will feel the direct impact of Facebook's decision isRoblox(NYSE:RBLX). It already operates a metaverse platform with millions of daily active users, but it's in jeopardy of losing out to Facebook. Still, the effects of Facebook's entry need not beadverse for Robloxas it could benefit from the increased attention on the metaverse.

Facebook is making a move

In Facebook's second-quarter conference call, CEO Mark Zuckerberg discussed how he's thinking about the metaverse: "In addition to being the next generation of the internet, the metaverse is also going to be the next chapter for us as a company. In the coming years, I expect people will transition from seeing us primarily as a social media company to seeing us as a metaverse company."

Roblox pales in size in comparison to Facebook. The Zuckerberg-led company has the resources to invest aggressively in building out its metaverse platform and withstand the lag time until the service starts generating profits. When Facebook CFO David Wehner was asked about the financial commitment it would be making, without giving a specific number, he responded by suggesting it would be in the billions.

In addition to the financial investment, Facebook has 3.5 billion monthly active users across its family of apps (Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Messenger). Those are users it can nudge, through an email or an in-app notification, to join the company's newly developed metaverse platform (when it's ready). Facebook announced plans to hire 10,000 people in Europe to create the metaverse, so this might come sooner rather than later. Facebook is also planning a name change to reflect its renewed focus on the metaverse.

Not all bad for Roblox
Roblox is not necessarily doomed. The company has attracted 48.2 million daily active users, up 32% from the same time last year, and has an established platform with items and experiences its users enjoy. What's more, the company's user demographic skews toward younger ages, with over 50% of its users under 13. That could be a competitive moat that keeps Facebook from taking its customers. Many parents could be hesitant to allow their kids to join a Facebook-created metaverse.

Further, Roblox is an ad-free experience. The platform is free to join, and the company makes money by selling an in-game currency called Robux that players use to buy unique items and join exclusive experiences. Facebook has said advertising will be a meaningful part of its metaverse. So for users who like to avoid ads or parents who want to keep their kids away from advertisements, Roblox could be the metaverse of choice.

The benefits
Facebook's entry into the metaverse business could shed light on the product. Billions of people worldwide who have never heard of or experienced a metaverse will come to know the platform. That could be good news for Roblox even if Facebook undoubtedly takes a larger share of the young industry's market. In essence, Facebook's entry will likely increase the growth rate of the metaverse industry -- probably turbocharge it. And if the industry gets bigger, Roblox will benefit. As mentioned earlier, Roblox has only 48.3 million daily active users, a small sum compared to the total number of people in the world with a connected device who could be potential customers.

Overall, the upside for Roblox, in a world where hundreds of millions (assuming 10% of folks within Facebook's family of apps choose to join) of people have a metaverse account, far outweighs the downside of potential daily active user losses to Facebook. In my view, Facebook's decision to develop a metaverse is good news for Robloxand its stock.

Hey All I am licking my wounds from OCUL. Still working through the situation it's not good for me because so many letters that sound the same but a different freakin' eye drop solution it looks like good saftey profile didn't meet endpoint shouldn't effect what they have on the market already and the compound we are following in the pipeline has their trial coming up still -- I don't see any read out here that says this one fails that one fails.

Man what a kick in the ass...

The eye business looks tougher than I thought . Another company had the same news today but I bet they only go down 6% why OCUL got mashed the way it did is hard to say... there must of been more upside here than I even imagined and that all got turned upside down.

If you stay up late at night and listen to the radio you may hear an ad for Cyberknife.. It sounds pretty good hardly any side effects and they cyber Knife that tumor out.

A) Accuray's CyberKnife platform shows breast cancer survival improvement in study 07:39 ARAY Accuray announced that a study published in Frontiers in Oncology found early-stage breast cancer patients could experience significant improvements in survival if treated with accelerated partial breast irradiation delivered using the Accuray CyberKnife robotic radiotherapy platform. Study investigators performed complex modeling that also indicates the survival rate could be better with CyberKnife APBI than other radiation delivery approaches. The CyberKnife platform is equipped with artificial intelligence-driven motion synchronization technology, Synchrony, that adjusts the radiation beam to the patient or tumor movement, keeping on target throughout the treatment, reducing patient burden.
