Someone smart recently warned about this unintended outcomes... With Shale growth very down and the future all electric, those that run prices up and down are seeing a weakness and taking advantage. The world could fall because of this.

The Gov may have to take over pricing.
 
Idea #1) LEMONADE gets into car insurance. --

Piper Sandler optimistic Lemonade Car will get approved, drive upside 06:10 LMND Piper Sandler analyst Arvind Ramnani says Lemonade's recent auto insurance state filings have "generated substantial investor interest," as it provides an initial glimpse into Lemonade Car, including its offering and approach into the market. Based on the regulatory filings, the analyst believes Lemonade Car will be offered at a lower price, have a telematics component, include bundled discounts and leverage a full-stack digital offering. Ramnani is optimistic that Lemonade Car will get approved and client sign-ups "will be robust," which he says should be offer upside to fiscal 2022 and 2023 estimates. The analyst keeps an Overweight rating on Lemonade with a $98 price target.

  • Puma Biotechnology(NASDAQ:PBYI) rose 10.8% after-hours after Citi upgraded the stock to Buy from Neutral with PT of $11.
  • Earlier the company announced that Alan H. Auerbach, Chairman, CEO, President and Founder of Puma, will provide Company overview today at 8:00 a.m. EDT at the 2021 Cantor Virtual Global Healthcare Conference.
  • PBYI shares have also underperformed the broader market, down 30.6% YTD.
  • Earlier in August, Goldman Sachs lowered PT on PBYI to $8 from $9 and maintained Sell rating.

Although attributing certain causes to sell-offs can be tricky, it was noted that Lemonade could not yet provide a firm date for the launch of its third new product since mid-2020. However, Lemonade had been clear from the start that it was still in quite early stages with respect to the car development, and the timing is dependent on regulatory approvals. Additionally, who had actually expected Lemonade to launch three products in just over a year?

As such, even though the product might not launch until the end of the year or so, in the big picture this is actually a quite near-term catalyst for continued growth. For example, as noted above, pet reached 13% of IFP within one year. Lemonade estimates that it has a $1B opportunity for car just within its existing customer base.

Management: The Lemonade Car team continues to grow considerably. We have recruited some of the best talent in the industry to lead our car insurance operation and have started staffing up our customer-facing teams in preparation for launch.
