The analyst believes Ping's PingOne Cloud Platform "will ultimately lead to long-term share gains." Further, the "powerful combination of several other key drivers" have the potential to lift the company's overall revenue growth to the 20% threshold or higher over time, Nowinski tells investors in a research note. He believes the stock's risk/reward is attractive.

Nowinski adds that despite the company's solid outlook and growing mix of subscription revenue, SailPoint's valuation of enterprise value at 23-times expected 2023 revenue is a "modest discount" relative to peers.
