AT&T, Verizon to cut 5G power around airports while aviation interference is studied

  • AT&T (T-1%) and Verizon (VZ-0.1%) will partly resolve a simmering debate around aviation safety by cutting 5G transmissions around airports and approaches to airports for six months.
  • The companies told the Federal Communications Commission that they're voluntarily agreeing to the power cut as a precaution, "though there is no credible evidence that a legitimate interference problem exists."

  • Small-cap air-filtering company AeroClean Technologies(NASDAQ:AERC)popped more than 900% Wednesday in its first trading session following a $25M initial public offering, prompting at least eight trading halts.
  • AERC rose to as high as $101.87, up 918.7% from its $10 initial public offering price. Shares were changing hands 730% higher at $830 shortly before 12:30 p.m. ET following resumption of trading following the stock's latest halt.
  • AeroClean (AERC) makes an air-filtering device called Purgo (pronounced “pure go”) to sanitize air in hospitals, elevators, airplanes and more.

  • Analyst Mark Breidenbach says that giveninterim phase 2 data presented this week on SYNB1618for phenylketonuria, "we are increasingly convinced that the drug can induce meaningful, sustained reductions in serum phenylalanine -- and we believe SYNB1934 could do even better."
  • SYNB1934 is also in phase 2 for phenylketonuria.

This is such BS. They have been talking about cell phone interference with avionics for decades.

Well, gee, I guess back in 2001, if everyone had to keep their cell phones off, people on those planes would never have been able to contact their loved ones right before they died. Everyone on those planes were trying to contact loved ones before they died, (that's a lot of collective power output from the phone antennas) and it didn't hurt the planes avionics at all.

Such a crock of SHIT.
 
I always do a little too much it's a Dragon thing. I am a wood Dragon.

So there is this damn fat light bulb in a light hanging in my mud room. You have to walk through to get into the house. It's an old twisty turny lantern and it's always extremely difficult to get a bulb in, the whole light spins as you rotate the bulb-- so there I go trying to get the old bulb out when ZAP I blew something and flipping the breaker aint fixing it. No OUTSide lights! no light to get into the house and no light down by the bridge for people leaving! 88 year old grandparents on my wife's side coming: this guy has already fallen twice recently! Hospital everything. Forgetting stuff...and no light> it gets dark at like 4:00 Christ why did I change that bulb!
