GBA Presents: THE GREEN MARKET

Perficient price target raised to $150 from $115 at Maxim 08:11 PRFT Maxim analyst Jack Vander Aarde raised the firm's price target on Perficient to $150 from $115 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares ahead of its Q3 results. The analyst is citing the company's recent accretive acquisitions of Talos Digital and Izmul S.A. while also calling for an over 10% multi-year organic revenue growth. The stock is up about 160% year-to-date but its 32.4-times earnings multiple is still a discount relative to peers' 41.5-times, Vander Aarde tells investors in a research note.

PRFT has been around along time now. I'm surprised they have never been approached for a buy out. About ten years ago this was a very hot name. This PT hike is hefty...

PRFT<---------

BUT THEY DO HAVE THIS PRFT TRADE! MAKES NO SENSE IT CAME AFTER I'M WORRIED!

oct 25th Buy-> $124 PRFT

nov 5th-> $ $148<--------------- HE'S DONE IT AGAIN!

yah, i'm kind of the same. i never catch all the spike and never catch all the dip, but the beer money has added up over the time. i guess the goal for me is to end up with a long position, but this market hasn't rewarded any of my attempts to hold a long position (long position = watching profits vanish)

also haha i'm an otc custodial stock junkie
Had you not been all adhd and sold at $14.... waited a whopping 2 months... you'd be up over 50%.
Stoney's a bad influence I think. ;)

GBA SHORT REPORT.

AFRM - I don't have the gumption but as an avid watcher of the name and former owner of the shares... she's done.
This is interesting.
You have my ears on this one Stoney.
I have not looked at it.
It might be a great call. Calling out a serious short like this is rare for you.
If you're wrong, I promise I won't mess with you on this one.
That's a ballsy call.
Now WBX on the other hand... :D
Did you see where it closed?
The trading gods were determined to not let me gloat... but $16.21 was close enough to the $15's.

no! i keep selling and then buying it back. i'm sure i'm at around a 50% return. i guess i could look it up... but yes, in retrospect, the smart thing was to buy a lot of shares when the darn thing was like 13 and then just sit on it and get the 50% return the easier way.

Like ISRG below $100 back in the day.
I forget how many times its split lol.
I think 3.
FB, Goog, MSFT, Zillow, or a big fintech looking to deworsify will buy the Matterhorn. In time.
Edit... maybe Roblox. ;)

Hey All. Well My situation is going to be looked into<----------
Missing Stock? One that ran $30!!!! Why couldn't you be missing Draftking!

I know he's going to find it. But I am nervous about my last sell which was EBAY (looks like a bad sell- Van was right!) But I tried to get that within 3 settle days of my guy moving firms and I might of cut it close.. there was a weekend. Those funds I got to make sure they follow me...

Why these headaches!

Well Canada Goose really flew. I could never catch it. But it brings into focus Retail plays that can make their number have their ship come in as it were. Who has fresh merchandise?

LVMHY?

Delays are so bad that a retailer stocked to the gills with fresh merch is going to kill it this Christmas. If you noticed Bed Bath and Beyond and Under Armour both had outstanding days.

So that's three plus Ralph Lauren.. Four... Who else....

In his before life stonedinvestor ran a clothing store with his wife.. well he hid behind the curtain.. But

DLA<---- I found this a way back (2 thread's ago 1 year!) they do sporty stuff.

Hummm. Which is it. We have had 1 month flat at this price with just a spark of good news-->

Oct 27-
Delta Apparel jumps as preliminary results point to earnings beat

  • So we are going to beat earn.
  • We are going to have a great Christmas because we have product
  • We have a chain idea

  • DLA is one of the only large apparel companies that produce 100% in North America, positive effects should last multiple quarters at minimum.

PR:“growth was constrained, particularly at the beginning of the quarter, from suboptimal inventory levels, our record-level manufacturing output allowed us to rebuild inventory as the quarter progressed. We expect this will continue through the first half of fiscal year 2022, positioning us for a strong spring selling season.”

At the highest level, DLA is a North American manufacturing/logistics company for the apparel industry <-- They produce for others & will be in HIGH demand. (in addition to also being a retailer) at a time when the global supply chain is highly disrupted, they are at the right place at the right time and should continue to benefit across all areas of their business from this dynamic.

Salt Life
Salt Life is continuing to grow,it seems possible/likely that Salt Life can eventually be worth more than half the current DLA market cap alone.

This idea just came to me as i wrote to you all THE SAVANT SPEAKS!

BUY Delta Apparel ~

So if you look at the 1 day chart of DLA Friday you will see right at the very end of the day a single 5K buy spiked the stk $27.15---> $27.60

That's wound pretty tight.

This is a VALUE stock. W Growth. GARP

The stock has a Forward P/E ratio of 9.07. This compares to its industry's average Forward P/E of 19.52. Over the last 12 months, DLA's Forward P/E has been as high as 17.09 and as low as 8.22, with a median of 13.57.

Value investors also use the P/S ratio. The P/S ratio is is calculated as price divided by sales. This is a prefered metric because revenue can't really be manipulated, so sales are often a truer performance indicator. DLA has a P/S ratio of 0.43. This compares to its industry's average P/S of 0.89.
