GBA Presents: THE BARE ESSENTIALS

Almost all Cdn energy companies at new 52 week highs. Nice breakouts since Friday in Baytex Energy, Athabaska Oil. Copper miners starting to move a little off bottom. I'm doing short term swings in Copper Mountain, Capstone, ERO Copper ( hold anywhere from an hour to 2 days ); copper trade ends if US market bounce ends.

    2. stonedinvestor We are back to 2019 prices on Chewy--- Chewy picked up clients during pandemic maybe lost some after but in the end will have more.

  • Estimated short interest in Chewy (CHWY) has continued to build with its third consecutive week of increases. As shorts pared their bets heading into the company’s Q1 results at the start of the month, the short interest as a percentage of free float had fallen to a six-month low around 19%, but this week’s two percentage point increase to 28% marks a two-month high. In the four-day period covered through Thursday, shares of Chewy are up 14.7% <------------ BE CAREFUL CHILDREN AND DO NOT BE GREEDY.:caution:

This deal was supposed to be completed 1H 2022. With that last earnings report..........it may shoot higher if they dont complete it. I haven't taken any off yet. Maybe I should.
hmmmmmm.............

i took my safm off at 211 this morning. I got "chicken" they would hold the deal to 203. I probably should have just sold half. It was a +30 gain. But it took a lot longer than Stoney's GS call. lol.

HDLEY>>> $12.30

Just like a penny stock Stoney, it doesn't take much>>>> up 10% since mention.

When the dust settles in Ukraine, someone is gonna have to supply the raw materials to rebuild it.
You were worried about their energy costs, as mentioned in their last report, but here's the bottom line with companies like this Stoney... they raise their prices. As do their competition. I mean they have to.

So, cement costs more to make... guess what... then it costs more to buy.

Pretty simple. Margins stay the same, that's the beauty of capitalism and competition.
What your missing here is... (aside from a little forward vision )... the change is in the the top line revenue #'s.
The growth.
That's when a stock rises. >>>Duh.

Now you can say it's only temporary, but by comparison, the US going green is littered with "only temporary" for a myriad of companies whose stock has ran on nothing more than hype, pumps, and "news".

Either way.... The Savant delivers once again.
It was the volume spike that put it on my radar.
Winner winner... chicken dinner. :sneaky:

Van way back in March you liked this name. Same price, actually a little higher. Why does a stock that does not move deserve to be shouted out twice? This looks bizarre the idea is for stocks to go up.
Why don't you start a new GBA thread already I'm dying here-- I'm existing on star fruit and gummies. I am hiding in the valley during the days and climbing up tot he mountain at night.

I am using an old French special forces communication backpack and relaying off a starlink bird No 22745.
