I want to clarify my position on Inflation. Because in some circles I am being mis-quoted.

GBA Believes we are entering a period of "persistent high inflation."

GBA Believes the Fed should change inflation target to 3.3%

Just because the rate of ascent has sharply slowed doesn't mean we have lower inflation.

It will take some time but we will get there.

As you know there have been around 11 fails and 3 succeeds in creating a soft landing.

We actually believe the Fed will succeed and create the 5th successful soft landing of all time.

Barring a large scale Russian default that triggers a Bank situation.. al la LTM.....
 
What next?

I am taking my first flight in over 2 years soon. Me so scared. My wife gets angry but some things you forget how to do-- flying is one. I've seen the fist fights, the brawls, the taped up passaners and now this.

My trainer at the gym was wearing a mask suddenly. He had one of those tickle coughs where you keep coughing non stop for a half hour--

Speaking of Omicrom check this out / here in the city the kids ARE having their intense IB exams- advanced placement exams... so we have this friend of my son's who is really smart but still freaking out over the Math IB and he got the Covid. He called in today (test day) to say he tested positive what should he do- and they said you will get an assumed score based off prior work!

My son frantically tested himself this am HOPING FOR A POSITIVE -!

I bet these kids get together and have spread events! on purpose. They shouldn't but the lure of no testing...

Just like in real life there are events that warrant special attention. Things get lost in the mix and the world ending but today we had one such event. The more I thought about it at the gym the more I realized this is a Important Event.

We live in a time when people question values. What is the value of a tech stock?
It's all in the mind of the beholder and the beholders now are negative... but this is Real-world money and it places a real-world value on something.

And we can all now look at profitable Biotech // VRTX and make our own assumptions about value becaus the market has been created / restated by Pfizer. thank god.
