Yum China shares have fallen more than 20% from March 10.

On Friday of last week, the stock fell 15.5% due to delisting fears and as of Monday morning, Yum China has fallen another 4.5% due to weak sentiment and a Covid-19 business update.

Although the delisting fears aren't necessarily new for Chinese stocks, Yum China was mentioned along with four other Chinese companies for the first time by the SEC on Friday.

That's when I made that post and bought it the next day. When they mentioned delisting.
As I said in that post, it's run by Americans for the most part. They're not gonna cook the books, and thats what the delisting noise was about. That dip was a solid opportunity to get in.
 
SNAP INFO-

The company notes it has more than 330 million daily active users and more than 600 million monthly users, marking about 20% growth on both measures - faster than at rivals Twitter and Meta Platforms (though, in the case of Meta, off a smaller base).

It's rolling out a number of free services for augmented reality developers, notably including data storage (a hurdle for small developers because of the sheer size needed). The company notes its AR Lenses have been used 5 trillion times since introduction.

Since January 2020, 250 million users have used a shopping-based Lens. At the summit, Snap said it's rolling out Camera Kit for AR shopping, a software development kit bringing the company's try-on lenses into product pages.

Catching more headlines out of the event, though, was the Pixy - a 3.5-ounce, pocket-sized "free-flying sidekick" that can take pictures hovering around its operator before landing in their palm. The company plans to sell the Pixy for $230 in the United States and France.

Jefferies was bullish after the event, reupping its view that Snap is the best growth idea in social media. The AR shopping tools open it up to a wider advertiser base, and overall the Summit's rollouts "increase our conviction that Snap is the dominant platform" in AR. The firm has a $52 price target, implying 75% upside from here.
 
I agree they won't delist. But will people get out of their homes to eat?

  • In compliance with Hong Kong stock exchange which require advance notice of board meetings at which a dividend is expected to be declared, Yum China Holdings (NYSE:YUMC) will consider the declaration and payment of a quarterly dividend.
  • If the Board agrees to proceed, the declaration will be adopted on or around May 4, 2022.
  • There is no assurance that the dividend will be declared.
 
KFC brands in China generated a massive $5.8 billion in revenue in 2020 from their 7,166 locations. The overwhelming popularity of the fried chicken establishment is most certainly the focal point that the company uses when targeting expansion in the coming years. There is plenty of evidence to suggest that a KFC territorial expansion will be highly profitable.

Van I asked around and these young buyers of these RV's are now parking them at their mom & dad's house and living in the driveway- no longer actively driving them-

So maybe there's hope...
