I think it's gonna cool down though.
Energy is the wild card, and at this point it all all comes back to the Ukraine thing.; and to some extent, the markets looking ahead at the mid-term elections.
I lost all belief that markets are forward thinking in 07-08.
The original Dell business model dubbed "just in time", is the way of the markets IMO.

Can you tell us all why companies that won't make any money for at least the next ten years are trading at 40X P/S's?

The question becomes not peak inflation but peak earnings. I am privy to some GS banter they are throwing around their trading desks and the feeling is the US Economy will slow to trend.. that is slow from 6% to about 2.6%<---- (ahem) // and the Fed will STILL BE RAISING FIGHTING RUNAWAY INFLATION.
