Coupang upgraded to Conviction Buy from Buy at Goldman Sachs 17:38 CPNG Goldman Sachs analyst Eric Cha upgraded Coupang to Conviction Buy from Buy with a price target of $37, down from $52. The negative factors that have weighed on the stock price since the second half of 2021 - rising rates, industry growth deceleration on high comps, and COVID induced capacity issues - are now mostly priced in, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Cha also believes that the market is underestimating Coupang's operating leverage potential, which he contends has been concealed under COVID induced expenses.

The unfortunate event cut the pool chlorine supply by 40%, leading to an upsurge in prices. Fortunately, Leslie's supplier was unfazed. The company took advantage of it and captured more market demand. As such, revenues rose while the operating margin reached 13%.
