Co -founder looks completely freaked out by the stock price.
I bought the TSN $85-$90 July-calls when it was $85-$86, seemed cheep.
Usual pattern of selling/listlessness on the TSX on a Friday usually is followed by buying on the next Monday. Barring any disruptive news of course. I managed to b/e but if I took the day off I'd had made 1% on my existing holdings. Cdn energy starts reporting April 28th. Any stock that you can buy on a daily dip from here is likely going to pay nicely by mid-May, and I believe normal seasonality ends around then. The potential pitfalls are War deals and in theory WTI could retest $90-$92. I don't necessarily think it will though and if it does I'd be buying Oil stocks heavily. Nat Gas I like long term but it's unclear what will occur short term. Crew Energy took a breather Friday after a huge run; Birchcliff and Arc Resources look really good in theory but they've failed in these breakouts before. I love them all on their next earnings report I suspect dividend increases may occur on one or two or share buybacks.
I lightened up Oil holdings during the week. I have several Lithium plays and two Pot stocks on the idea they may pop again on speculation ( Tilray on the Friday drop and I've been holding NDVA at a loss for months even added some shares Friday ). My observation is that speculative small caps here are gaining interest whereas in 2021 they got really unpopular. If these areas ( pot stocks and lithium ) fail on Monday I will bail on most of them. I am not that confident on Tilray it's a trade; NDVA is so low in price I think it can't go much lower; the reason I bought it is it supposedly will turn a profit later this year. The US vote could create some buying Monday when people realize the news on Friday wasn't bad. Or not, we'll see.
