It is a very interesting question. And maybe a good plot for a movie.
The human condition (at least mine) likes to immediately forget anything negative.
Like Prostate Cancer... News of people dying will will just go in one ear and out the other... or even good things for other people.. Oh look so and so bought a boat... Gone. In an instant wiped from my memory.
I am like an elephant with stocks but a blind monkey with everyday activities.

Boy once this shit is installed on phones and such boy are we in for a huge letdown.
Just to give you an example I had a portfolio manager talking up a tech stk to me and he was getting all breathy about AI and I stopped him.. and I said explain to me exactly what AI will do for me.. and he went into the usual oh' if you're planning a trip.. it could... you know plan it and instantly translate...
To which I said I go away once every four years. Usually to an island that speaks English. And I go online and just buy a plane tkt from the airline.

Increased volume is just that volume it goes both ways. So look at your vol sticks and the price bars they are red<-- So the volume went up and the stk went down.
The chart you saw as positive was negative and that is why it plunged so.
Always use OBV.
