There is insider selling at DT which obviously i don't like.-

Dynatrace (NYSE:DT) was in focus on Thursday after the cloud software firm reported fourth-quarter results that investment firm Baird deemed "solid." The longer-term prospects of the company may be more appealing, however.

Shares rose 2.8% in mid-day trading.

"We believe security, logs and AI all present growing long-term opportunities," Baird analyst William Power wrote in an investor note. Power reiterated his Outperform rating on Dynatrace, but lowered his price target to $62 from $65 after the release.

Looking further out, Power said he believes in Dynatrace's ability to attract new customers, citing its recent go-to-market changes, including a greater focus on partners and direct sales. That's helped the company's security and log segments, which are now both expected to generate $100M in annual recurring revenue by fiscal 2026, Power said.

And while there is still a "challenging" macro environment,<-- (visa vi PSNW) Dynatrace is likely to be able to navigate some of the headwinds as it looks to go after "bigger, more complex deals," Power said.

"DPS pricing makes it easier to try new products without up-front commitments, which we think should benefit DT and customers over time," Power wrote.
