In BIotech ITCI would be a top pick for me. based mostly on the buyout possibilities.
This name has been bantered around so many times I think big drug co's must be kicking the tires.
Intra-Cellular is already a success. They got Caplyta approved to treat Schitzophrenia in 2019.
That may interest a certain Schitzo.

This same Caplyta was also approved for bipolar disorder in 21'.
Which may interest Van.
$126m in Q3 2023, sales up 75% year-on-year, with prescriptions increasing 71% year-on-year. Across the first nine months of 2023, Intra-Cellular earned $331m of revenues, although the company recorded a net loss of $(125m).
The forecast for 2024 is for revenues of $460 - $470m, with SG&A expenses of $405m - $420m, and $R&D expense of $185 - $200m.
Alright granted those are not encouraging numbers so much expenses! If you back out R&D things look a lot better.
Those expenses are being used to take the base ingredient in Caplyta " lumateperone " and try and use that for Major Depressive Disorder.
There are 2 Phase 3 studies ongoing in MDD, and Intra-Cellular expects to report results in "the first and second quarters of 2024, respectively."
That's a huge market. Everyone is depressed.
If all goes well Caplyta could eventually generate peak sales of >$4bn per annum.
