What's crazy is Grandpa Bob always tells this story about meting Jackie Robinson. Way back in the day Brooklyn a shiny car pulls up the window rolls down.. Bob is a scrappy street urchin playing jax or stick ball and Jackie says: " Hey kid which way is Ebbets field "

Over the years he has told that story a million times and he wrote into the NY times with that story and that is Grandpa Bob. So my wife's brother caught up to the ambulance drivers and asked how is he-- and they said " 42! That Jackie Robinson story was great. "
