There's approximately 2000 shares of buy orders on the level 2, down to $3.78.

While that is not a lot in the bigger picture, if someone that held a large stake, and wanted out, they would certainly hit those those 2000 shares, locking in $3.78+, on at least 2000 of their position. Then let it climb back up, waiting for some depth, and hit it again.

This might seem like an insignificant tell on a stock that trades 1M/shares per day, and ordinarily it would be, but not in the hours following a major press release. The folks who hold large positions, the pro's that have staffs of PHD's, evaluating these biotechs... they would have hit that 2000 with 2000 if they didn't like what they read.

It's very subtle, but VZ knows these things. Trading pre-market before a big move is an art. Very easy to get burned. This is not one of those times. It's just like knowing when to use vwap, and when its use is meaningless.
