Stride's Fiscal Q4 Earnings, Revenue Increase; Shares Rise After Hours

Stride (LRN) reported fiscal Q4 diluted net income late Tuesday of $1.01 per diluted share, up from $0.66 a year earlier.

Three analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.87 per share.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $483.5 million, up from $455.2 million a year earlier.

Three analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $460.7 million.

The company said it will provide fiscal 2024 guidance when it releases fiscal Q1 results in October.

Shares of Stride rose 9% in recent after-hours activity.

Now they have earnings on 8/15. You could buy it now and sell the August $40's for $2.40, but I'd wait on the selling the calls because I think it will spike on earnings. If it drops you'll be in the stock for $36 and change if you do sell the calls, but again, I wouldn't this time around. Do some DD on it if you want. It's a 10 year hold. The climb will be slow and steady.

The HE $17.50 puts started screaming, I could not ignore the volume. Ave cost was $1, price was $2 when I wrote this. The high was $4 during the last dump. Made 3x.

Hardly well known- 4.5% hedgies & Inst but I thought the quality quite high. State St & Vanguard do you think they are just throwing their money away. Recent double downs or double ups are encouraging for this name.
